I am a Christian. I believe in the one true God of the Bible. I believe He exists in three persons, the Trinity, made up of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth. Jesus lived a perfect life with no mistakes. That’s why when He died that awful death on the cross it paid the price for my sins and the rest of mankind if we trust in Him to do so. When we accept Him into our lives as our Savior, He washed away all of our mistakes and mess ups.
I believe God loves us unconditionally. God forgives us when we do wrong, but that doesn’t give us an excuse to do wrong. We are to live as Jesus lived the best as possible.
I was raised in a Christian home so God was always a part of our lives and I accepted Jesus into my heart at a very young age. I didn’t really struggle in my relationship with God until my junior high years when schedules got crazy and it was hard to make time for Him. I got a lot of encouragement from other people and that helped to get me out of that hard time. Although I still have hard times in my walk with the Lord, I know I have people to encourage me and I have God to lean on at all times. He’s always with me and I can count on Him to be there for me.
Since I have so many people that encourage me, I would like to share an encouraging verse with you guys!
