Since I’m only sixteen, I would save it to pay off debts. When you go to college you end up with a lot a debt, so my first goal is to pay that off. With a million dollars that shouldn’t be too hard. Next I would buy a nice house and a nice car. I wouldn’t buy some huge mansion or a insanely expensive car. I just everything in both the house and car to work correctly and look good, but not too extravagant. I know I’d most likely go on a shopping spree with a small portion of the money as well. I’d also like to give part of it to a charity, the community, or a Christian organization. Giving back gives enough joy to give up some of my new found wealth.
With anything left I would like to simply put it in savings. It could be for my future kids, other debts or payments due, or maybe a nice trip with some people/person I love.
If I had this much, I’d hope that people wouldn’t judge me because of my wealth. I wouldn’t want to flaunt my money, but instead be grateful to God and humble myself. Surely if I got this much money it was God’s provision, and He would deserve much praise.
